“Our Rice Culture - A Non-Profit Venture Every year around November our village in far north-eastern Thailand has its annual rice harvest. Unlike other parts of Thailand where they can have 2 and sometimes 3 harvests per year, our poor soils and w”—
It reaIly is so sad to see people work so hard just to receive a little in return. But this is a reason despite my own health problems, I personally believe in and support the ideas of volunteering/charities and when ever I can I will always do what ever I can to help make a difference. I love and respect people and organizations like Thai Silk Magic who have created this business to help their village and its people.
I want to share valuable knowledge, information and recommendations with you. What do you need to know? Just ask me! What country do you want to know about? Just ask me! I’m originally from Chicago, Ill. U.S.A. Since November 11th, 2001 (exactly 2-months after 9/11) I came to Thailand for my sixth and final time. I decided to give teaching a try and now 10-years later, more than 6,000 students later my mission has been accomplished. It’s not over as I will continue but at a much slower pace and in the English Language Consultant Services. I also now have the ability to use my 10-years experienced and business skills as a promotional advertisement franchise owner/operator in Chicago 1990-1999. I am now based in Bangkok, Thailand. This group will cover a wide range of topics from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. I have been to each of these countries 2-27 times each, except for Indonesia, but I have many connections there from friends here in Thailand. If you are planning to study in a university, open a business, expand a business, need a sourcing agent or planning a retirement or just a simple fun vacation and you are considering Southeast Asia or just need information then contact me. I would be honored to assist my fellow Storeboard members who have an interest in Southeast Asia.
I am Thankful for all the good friends that I have all around the world like you Mr. David Waller. I am Thankful for the many different memberships that I have on some websites like Storeboard. I am Thankful for having had the opportunity to travel to 13-countries, eating good food from around the world, learning many great things about different cultures and meeting thousands of nice people from all walks of life. On this Thanksgiving Day 2011 I am looking forward to the future:} I’m Thankful!

The ethereal beauty of our planet Earth becomes immediately evident when you watch this collection of time-lapse videos shot with a low-light camera on board the International Space Station between August and October, 2011. It gets even better when an artist such as Michael König…
Chalerm should only blame himself, the Prime Minister, her corrupt fugitive BIG boss & brother Thaksin and the handful of ministers and officials for not telling the truth to the people. Also it’s a dam shame these same inexperienced government officials think the timing is right so that Thaksin can attend his daughter’s wedding, and forget about focusing on the floods, economy, education and health issues, garbage, homeless and jobless people.
This is exactly what everyone knew from the start. She doesn’t care about the Thai people or all the expats and foreign tourist. Her only agenda is too help her boss, her convicted BIG brother who want to attend his daughter’s wedding. Yingluck is a sick ill minded corrupt official just like Thaksin and she must be stopped!!! She is to stupid to be a real and fair Prime Minister.
